I turned off the computer at lunch time to have lunch and watch a film this afternoon, however when I turned the computer back on and tried to get in to skype I can't. it's set up to come on without me signing in each time but now it's asking me to sign in. I've tried but without any luck, the edit box won't even go in to focus mode in the usual way. Can anyone help please? -----Original Message-----

Hello. try relaunching, jaws, skype and rebooting the computer, in tjat order. Maybe something happened. If not try launching nvda if you have it to see if it is screen reader specific.

If not then you need to go on desktop to find skype then press enter then skype window should be open then enter your password the skype will open up!! O. have been many individuals who have wanted me to help them uninstall and reinstall a given piece of software, but when I actually use their computers, I find it is not an issue where a full uninstall and reinstall is necessary. So we cannot use JAWS Tandem to fix your problem, and also better that you use NVDA 2015.1 for best support with Skype 7.x. If you use a lower version of NVDA, better to upgrade as soon as possible.
