I saw your Tandem offer but I'm doing a lot of other things between messages today. :) Chrome should load only for Skype 8, so I suggest using the JAWS Ctrl+JAWSKey+V command and telling me the versio

The oldest JAWS version supported by the Skype 8 scripts is JAWS 17, latest available revision. This is because the scripts use the "domain scripting" feature of JAWS that was introduced in JAWS 17. P

I believe you've been bitten by a little but hard to explain bug. Delete uia.jsh in the JAWS user folder, not the shared folder, and then reinstall.

how to you clear the chatt list in skype 8?
I believe deleting a conversation in Skype 8 removes the data as well, not just the list entry. You can remove a conversation from its Context menu though. I am not aware of a hotkey for this.

Which browser you use or have installed will not affect Skype 8. Skype 8 is an Electron app, and Electron is basically web content in a Chrome control that does not run inside an actual browser.
