Answering calls- 7 vs 8 vs WUP
I am still using 7 because I’m concerned about the changes in the new versions. I love the way calls come in with 7 because I don’t have to fumble around to find the answer command in a panic. Do

Re: A suggestion for the SkypeEnglish message footer
I know that the email no longer exists. That is an old footer from about 15 years ago, well some of it anyway. The forums are inaccessible, so now there really is no way to contact Skype for any form

A suggestion for the SkypeEnglish message footer
I would send this privately to the moderator, but I confess I don't have her email address handy...
The footer includes this line:
That address, skypeenglish.com, seems not to exist. It should

Re: Proposal a translation of scripts for Skype Electron
So far I've let translators manage their own distribution of scripts. I know this is not the way NVDA add-ons and official Freedom Scientific scripts work. Years ago I tried to host translated

If you are talking with someone, and if the third person is calling you, you need to answer that call, the first person goes on hold now press plus button and the first person’s contact will appear

Adding to conference, bad news...
Hello guys, for those who wanted to know how to joining callers in the conference, apparently it is not possible, you'll need to refuse the incoming call and then invite the contact to the conference.

Re: More on Adding Participants to a Running Call
No difference. Whether I added a second participant via a contact or the dialpad, that button is no longer there.

I thought you could, I don't have a way to test as I no longer have my skype usa subscription, but I owuld think pulling up the dial pad would have worked. What happened when you tried the second

More on Adding Participants to a Running Call
I still can't do it on an incoming third party, but adding an outgoing third party to the call was cinchy. That's apparently what the "Add people" button is for.
However, I have a new problem. The

Also, let me point out that GW Micro merged, but even before that, the API which they used to interface to Skype is no longer. And its not coming back.
