Hey I see nothing wrong with the current web interface of Skype 8.x. I use NVDA 2018.3.2 and it works great. Like Sarah said learn your HTML commands. Heck you need to use those anyway regardless what

I agree. I haven't heard about any real improvement *for the blind*, but I heard just about disadvantages.
For me the biggest disadvantage is the web interface, and this won't be changed for sure.

Dear friend, last time when the script was revised on August 30th 2018 which is JAWS version 60 for skype electron!
Since then skype was updated from Skype 28 to Skype 31.0.92!

All of that is at the top. It's quite easy to use think of a multi tabbed dialogue that we all remember and you shoudl be good to go. Use web nav key strokes and you will also be good to go. I get

This is nothing but propaganda. Almost all the functional stuff that message addresses existed in Skype 7. The window-dressing ... don't know and don't care for obvious reasons.

I agree as well. It still sometimes sounds a bit muddy, but it is less so, and I can hear my students very clearly, assuming our connection holds out.

As far as sound quality is concern, Skype 8 is much much better than Skype 7!
Test and try, don’t like don’t buy!

I read this post and all I can say is let Skype 7.x die! Time to finally time to move on with 8.x and beyond. Now for them to bring back the beautiful audio quality we all enjoyed if 4.x and later.
