Which version is which?
I have 8.33 but no idea if it is ‘Electron’ WUP, or whatever the difference is supposed to be. The FS memo advising JFW users said to turn the virtual cursor off. Inamuddin says to definitely turn

Skype version 7 will soon cease to function. Uninstall it and get used to using Skype 8.
There are two versions of Skype 8--one from the Microsoft Store, one from skype.com.

Just installed 8.32- got questions!
Under control center/programs and features the old Skype 7.41 is listed- but not the new. Under ‘all apps’ there is a Skype listed with no version but with the word new after the listing. Insert Q

Re: a question about multiple users
It sounded like he was asked for a verification code on log in. he says now that it has been fixed. I don’t think it was in the chat window because he’d have likely ignored it. I know I didn’t

Re: a question about multiple users
When you say "asked for a code," what exactly do you mean is happening?
Is a dialog popping up asking for something? If so, it would help to let us know what the dialog text says.

If you refer to messages arriving in the currently displayed conversation, I'm not sure what's going on there. The rest of this message applies to notifications produced by Skype when a message

Re: Two announcements: https works on my website, and hotkey change in Skype 8
Thanks Doug for the information, I just tested the hotkeys in italian Skype 8.32 and effectively the change is in effect here as well, so I reported on my italian Skype list.
Bye!

Two announcements: https works on my website, and hotkey change in Skype 8
Someone on this list recently had trouble finding scripts/add-ons on my website because of using https instead of http. https has become quite common nowadays, and sometimes preferred, for security

Re: skype is not syncing
Yep. I don't see a change in the help list, but yeah. Not even the /help command I was reading about works. And the the other commands are failing too.

No, it doesn’t seem to work at all any longer for Skype 8, it says invalid command or something to that effect.
