really, this is just knit picking. you can configure your screenreader to toggle on and off your virtual cursor or in the case of NVDA toggle on and off brows mode. It all comes back to

Hi, beta testing jaws 2019 and find skype 8 fine with jaws and able to get to the conversation list and the update process and able to use left and right arrow for the tabs and as part of a student

Skype support told me that there is a plus button but at least for me I cannot see that plus button.

Wait, I thought that there was a plus button. IN fact we did this just last week on our skypes. Ther was an add button when in the call. We clicked it and the person got added. This was using skype

If ther is I don't know it yet. But I always just tab to the tabs (no pun intended) then right arrow from there. I can also I think pull up the item chooser if I really want to go quicker.

Te interface is quite predictable. I use it every day and just use my web keys. The chat thing is always tab 1 etc. It really is a breeze to use.

Yes, this is true. I would like to test it, but Microsoft doesn't assure me that if I won't like it I will be able to just close it and continue to use Skype 7 while it is still available.

Hey I see nothing wrong with the current web interface of Skype 8.x. I use NVDA 2018.3.2 and it works great. Like Sarah said learn your HTML commands. Heck you need to use those anyway regardless what
