I think the fog has finally cleared. It took me all this time to understand there are two versions of the same application from two suppliers, their look and feel seems quite similar to me, and

Re: Still Confused About Skype 8.25 UWP
You are correct that Skype 8 is from the website and Skype UWP is from the Store.
But there are scripts for both, and you have to load the scripts for the Skype version you are using.

Still Confused About Skype 8.25 UWP
Doug:
Electron and NVDA add-on are the wrong choices because I'm not using a version of Windows less than 10. Scripts for Windows 10 insist Chrome is running. What can I do to fix this?
Thanks

Re: windows shutting down skype 7.4
Ok guys, I think Sugar made a mistake in indicating with JAWS version he is using. 10 is old by now, and won't support Windows 10 at all.
That been said, I checked out system requirements for Skype

Hi
Not sure if anyone sent you any info but skype 7 is being shut down on September 1 and we will have to choose between skype 8.25 (electron) and skype for windows 10, better known as UWP.

Re: Are Doug's Scripts Really Active?
I know but I think first information is out-of-date. Looks like MS is making Windows 10 users be able to use Skype 8.25 as well.
Bye!

answer and hang-up
Apology if this has already been asked and answered.
In Skype 8.25, how do you answer an in-coming call and how do you hang-up a call?
Thank you in advance.

Re: Are Doug's Scripts Really Active?
Doug's Web page says this:
• Skype 8 (Electron app, Skype for Windows older than 10) JAWS scripts
I am on Windows 10, so I would use this one:
• Skype UWP (Skype for windows 10) JAWS
