Hi Sarah, I guess like you we are also. I had a client that downloaded the
windows version, and we ended up downloading the desktop version from the
web site.

No strong evidence, but I'm afraid that Microsoft won't maintain 2 types of Skype if the new Skype is working under Windows 7 already.

That's true. I thought the end of life for 2007 was 2019 not 2020. They upped it by one year? After end of life for windows 10 what will happen? I heard microsoft are not building anymore windows

I thought 2020 because that's end of life for Windows 7 and Skype for Windows 10 initially didn't run there I think. But now, it does run on

As I said, I have not scripted that one. I need to hear if anyone has solid evidence of when Microsoft plans to ditch Skype

If you mean Skype Desktop version 7.40, I'm running it without problems.
If you mean he new Skype for Windows 10, I did not script that; but you can still use Skype Desktop, which I did script.

Is this using the deskt op app fromthe app store or is this uusing the skype that just came with windows 10? I am a part of the windows 10 insider program but I have yet to try skype on it. Not good

If you mean it is corrupted, try again in case the download failed. If you mean an antivirus program considered it a problem, it may have
just been telling you it is not a recognized or popular file.

I have just tried down loading the scripts for the Jaws 2018, but it will
not download as windows 10 says that the file is badd for my system.
