Ok, please tell me which JAWS version are you using, and if using
scripts, also scripts revision. Another thing, better to use scripts and Skype in the same language. If you cannot use Skype in english and scripts are not translated in your native language, think about doing it yourself... Bye! Barbuz

on wednesday I discovered that Skype 7.4 has been released, and I installed it for testing it out. Accessibility ok with latest scripts, though there are some issues with Facebook cause FB is modifying something. For now I can chat with Facebook contacts, but I think we need to stay tuned. The thing is that from now on we're unable to post Facebook statuses with Skype home, and to see FB statuses in that page. I have encountered my first glitch with skype 7.3. When i'm in a text conversation with a couple of my contacts, the message i'm seeing on alt1 isn't the most recent. It's something that was sent over a week ago. The most recent is on alt2. In addition, when i've typed my message, and hit enter, jaws will read the message that is on alt1, not what i've just written. This has only started happening in the last week. I'm running windows 7, jaws 16, skype 7.3 and revision 893. I've ran the uninstaller and reinstalled but still the same. microphone issue solved but...

Hi skype users. I have a headset microphone, but it can only be used one way or another so have been fiddling with it trying to make it work. then last night just by chance I opened a little box on my closet floor and found two old microphones that were from a cassette player in an old stereo I had way back in the 80s. the setup wizard didn?t quite work right the progress bar would try to move but what ever it is trying to install couldn?t. so just now I grabbed the other mic and plugged it in. using the echo sound test service I found my audio was louder than on the headset mic but there was an awful hiss. so the question is How do I get that hissing sound out. I rechecked the automaticly adjust microphone volume now how do I adjust the recording level settings and how do I get rid of the hiss? this microphone works other wise.

I need some help right away because I don't know what's happen to contact list window when I was on skype thursday evening I was on contact list window to find this person on line then I was chatting with him then when I got through chatting with this person I press esc key to close his window conservation window then contact list with name not show back up at all !! I try to fix the problem trying to get contact list window on yesterday and this morning(saturday) I'm getting frustated with it and still not able to get to contact list window to see who is on line !! I have try everything ,Can anyone help me please? I'm using skype 6.1.8 with jaws 15 !! O.
