I just answered your questions about editing contacts and adding numbers in another message. I'll tackle your calling questions here. Apologies for slowness btw; sorta got a flood of email in the last 24 hours or so.

Making calls involves finding your contact or conversation, pressing Enter on it to open it, then typing Ctrl+Alt+P to make the call. Do not forget to press Enter before typing Ctrl+Shift+P, lest you call the wrong person. If it works right, you should hear your screen reader say, "Opening chat" and the conversation name. If it does not say this, or at least say "edit" indicating that you are in a chat input box when you press Enter, try again. My scripts do not change the above directions, but they do let you use JAWSKey+T to check the name of the currently displayed conversation. This feature may not work immediately after you open a conversation from somewhere other than the Conversations list, however. I have not managed to dig into why this is the case yet. I'll let someone else fill in details on the dial pad. I have used it but can't currently remember the exact sequence.

I see two ways to find the contact, of which the second is faster for anyone with a lot of contacts. Method 1: The Contacts list: Alt+2 for contacts. This lands you on a button. DownArrow into your contact list, find the contact you want to modify. There may be a faster way to find the contact, Method 2, Search: Ctrl+Shift+S for Search screen. Type the contact name or partial name, then Tab a time or three to the results list. Use arrows to find the contact in this usually short list as necessary. Hello,
for those saying typing indicators don't work, here it's what came to my mind. They've been introduced in scripts revision 102 as mentioned in the release notes, so press insert+q fron within Skype and verify if you have this revision; if you have 86 or below, you need to download the scripts installer again in order to update them. Typing announcement is disabled by default because Skype itself produces one so they can be duplicated if the JAWS setting is turned on. Typing sounder should work though. Another thing: do you have another language different than english? If so, chances are typing indicators are language-dependent. Bye! Barbuz
