I agree with both Sarah and Doug here. I have a way better experience with Skype 8 and NVDA than JAWS 2019. I pissed some people off on a JAWS FB group cause a person on their was complaining about V 7.x. I went far as doing a quick and raw post on Paraiscope using both JAWS 2019 and NVDA with Skype 8. I’m just tired of all the bull crap on here and elsewhere. V 7.x is dead so lets move on and use Skype 8.

as there is no Skype 7 anymore, let me give you some advice. You Skype 8. You will love it. All you need to do is memorize and use your web reading keystrokes that you use with your screen reader. Read your screen readers manual on more as this is not the list to get help on web browsing keystrokes.

Correct. Skype 7.4 will load for a few seconds, then, will sign you out. It doesn't work anymore.

I had been enforced to update my old Skype version 7.4. The version is Skype 8.37. Is this the one I have in my machine? I use Jaws19 and windows10 version 1809 with all the updates. I installed the Jaws scripts 71 or something like that. Is it ok? Or maybe there is a better script now? I’m sorry that I ask this question now, because I didn’t use this list, for a long time. Hello all, Blocking and removal of contacts in Skype 8 is done via the contact's profile window. To invoke it, open the chat/conversation window for a contact you want to block/remove and then press Control+P to bring up the contact's profile window. In there are the options for blocking and removal of the contact, as well as other useful things.
