Re: What now?
Go to skype.com and find the download page. Then find the 8 preview link. This is the one you want to get, I think?

Re: What now?
I think there is an option, but you need to be in the chat. I was able to do it a few days ago. Actually now I just send audio clips from my phone to my contacts. Those actually sound better than the voicemail thing in my humble opinion.

Re: Sorry folks
No problems. Can you report that to the nvda groups which is also on groups.io to see what is going on? Maybe it’s nothing, or a setting that needs to be changed etc.

I am using Skype version 7.5.9 for Windows 7, and Skype 8 does not work very well with my computer, JAWS, nor NVDA.

Sorry folks
cecropia64
It was me who sent the email with all the messed up characters in it. I use both Jaws and NVDA and sometimes when I have to switch between them, this little issue happens. Doesn't happen all the time but when it does it is a real pain. Again, sorry for the confusion.

I believe it is both. I personally am loving skype 8. d I can do so so much with it that I could not do wiht skype 7. The interface is very smooth and easy to use.
