Hi all,
At one time I sent in a not to the person who codes MP3 Skype Recorder. It had to do with JAWS being heard when I pressed key strokes using MP3 Skype recorder. I do have an external mixer. All the pots were down. He fixed the issue for a while but it broke again and at that time he said that Microsoft had dome something which accidentally eliminated the fix. Any ideas as to how to get this fixed permanently? Is anyone else experiencing this with MNP3 Skype recorder when recording? Larry

Ok, try to install proper scripts, get them at www.dlee.org/skype/electron
If you installed version 622b of the Skype scripts, I don't think they'll work with Skype 8. Bye! Barbuz

It happens to me as well. I usually have to go in to Task Manager to delete it. Or use Doug Lee’s key stroke to close skype. Larry

To those of you who gave me suggestions about how to shut down Skype 4.1, I thank you. I ended up just pinning it to the start menu and then I can shut it down. Thanks for all the help and suggestions.

Try Skype Classic, which 7.5.9 on Skype.com, but new version of Skype is confusing to me as well. The only thing that I did not like about it is that I can't access to my voicemail with the new version of Skype.

You can make a systray item for skype and then activate the context menu in
