You can make a systray item for skype and then activate the context menu in

The insert procedure must be like this: insert+f11 for the system tray, then focus Skype and press enter. In the context menu, choose quit; once you do that, confirm using the quit button.
If you're using JAWS and Doug's scripts, you can also press alt+shift+f4 in quick succession and this will shut down Skype. Bye! Barbuz

I'm using Windows 7 64bit and Skype version 7.41. When I login, I can do what I need to. But after logging out, I can't shut it down. I go to the menu and hit close but Skype still remains. The only way to get rid of it is to reboot my computer. Any suggestions as how I can close Skype? Thanks Stewart

Hello to all.
Reading this thread I tested the webpage for the scripts, and I did not encounter any kind of errors. So the site is still working properly on my hand. Concerning "Skype Classic", you don't need to do anything specific. Basically, this is how is now formerly called Skype till 7.41, in order to distinguish it from Skype 8.x electron and Skype UWP available in the Windows 10 Store. Bye! Barbuz

Which version of skype are you running?
If it’s 7, otherwise known as classic, once you click on 6.22B you need to tab round until you get to a link that says: script version 6.22B executable installer and enter on that. Then follow the installation steps. By default the installer will select the version of jaws you are running.

Thanks all and have a happy Sunday. Hi All, Microsoft has been not accepting email from us since early this morning. They claim some sort of spam issue. We're registered with their FBL system, and I went to check the reputation of our service. They say there was an issue with an IP address that I had registered with them but have never used to send any email. So I'm guessing it's some kind of mistake. I removed that IP address from their system and sent an email to them about it.
As of now, we're still blocked. Assuming we're unblocked in the next day or two, all the queued up email will be delivered. From some things I've read, it appears that they do bulk processing once a day, around midnight. So maybe we have to wait until then to get this fixed.
