A friend of mine was having an issue with Skype where it stood in the taskbar, she searched for the checkbox which I mentioned in the subject but without finding it; so another person made her turn on the compatibility mode for Windows vista in the properties of the main executable file. Thanks for your info Sarah, I still use Skype 7.40 with scripts 983 though. The only thing is, on my Windows 10 the number build i is slightly different being it 7.40.0.151.

Exactly. I think you will just have to follow the prompts. I barely use skype, I use what ever was on my windows laptop I believe from the microsoft store with NVDA, it works ok.. I know this will not help by any means but try it wiht nvda as well.

Well I use Windows 10 myself and I do not encounter any issue, possibly it's because I used my Skype account since years, and since plenty of time I also connected it to my hotmail account.

Now I did request code And I received it but that did not work, so I sent for a verification of e mail and I got thatas well. On that e mail tthere is an option to delete that microsfot account. If I say yes can I redo my Microsoft account as fresh? Maybe that would help? I am so stuck sugar

from Pakistan. I hope all of you are doing well. Before discussing the problem, let me introduce myself. Well, I'm Hamza Ahmad. I was born in a middle-class Muslim family of Pakistan. I am by birth blind, and therefore I got my basic education in a blind school. After matriculation, I got my education with sighted people. I'm currently studying English literature, b.a. Honors semester III. I think, its enough for introduction, isn't it? Yes, it is! So, let's come to the topic. I am using jaws 18.0.2740, and skype version 7.40.0.104 on windows 10 falls creator update 1709. When I move to message input box, and press jaws hotkey help command, and use next or prire paragraph commands, control + up or down arrow keys, it does not move to. Instead of it, when next paragraph command key is pressed, it beeps system beep, beep that is blown when jaws beep function is called, and when prire paragraph command is pressed, jaws exits the virtual buffer, and gets focus to chat content list box. If its problem with scripts, please do fix it, or if its problem with my skype, let me know the solution. Thanks everyone. Have a happy saturday ahead. Correction: Alt-T then Control-o for options. Scroll down to IM options. Then, tab over one where you can set it to No History. Tab two over to Clear History.
