The space bar only works if you're sitting on the End Call button.

But, control shift h works perfectly.

Try Control+Shift+H.

But isn't Control+Shift+H introduced in the beta/preview version of Skype, which is 8.65? I think Control+E still works in v8.64. Which version are you using?
