Skype UWP, also called Skype for Windows 10, only works on Windows 10.

Microsoft wrote a new Skype 8.12 client for use on Windows 7, 8.1, etc.
I am

not done scripting that one yet.

Like I've said before. If you are running WIN 10 use the Skype app
for

WIN 10 that ships with WIN 10. We don't know when MS will kill for
good

Skype cclassic. The WIN 10 app works great with NVDA and Doug Lee
has

written JAWS scripts for the WIN 10 app.

Well I suggest you use SKype for WIN 10 assuming you have WIN 10.
Skype

classic nags and nags you to try the new Skype. I don't need a nag.

Can you be mor specific? Most of Skype's sounds has changed some.
If

you use Skype classic their options to check in the sounds area.
In

Wthe WIN 10 UWP app you can't do much at all.
